Winnipeg Philatelic Society
The Winnipeg Philatelic Society (WPS), founded
in 1900, is the oldest stamp club in Western Canada.
The purpose of the society is to provide facilities
for the encouragement and aid of stamp collecting
as a hobby.

Meeting Info
The WPS meets every first and third Thursday of the month
at the Scandinavian Cultural Centre, 764 Erin Street in
Winnipeg from September until June.
Doors open at 6:30pm, and meetings officially start at
7:30pm. The first meeting of the month is always a club
auction, the second meeting of the month is a
presentation.
Regular WPS Membership $35 / Year

Parking is available on the street or in the
Maple Leaf Construction Parking Lot just
before the Scandinavian Cultural Centre.

Wearing of face masks is Mandatory.
3.
Proof of Vaccination not required.
4.
No coffee or snacks will be served.
5.
Air purifiers will be up and running.

We will follow any new health guidelines as
they change.
Did you inherit

a dear family member has passed on and left their
collection with no instructions on disposal.
This can be a confusing situation to a
non-collector. The usual questions are:

AT MEETINGS.

dealers
that
meet
on
the
second
Sunday
of
the
month
at
the
Best
Western
Hotel
at
4140
Portage
Avenue
in
Headingley.
They
start
at
10:00am
and
go
until
around
3:00pm.
Another
option
is
to
bring
your
material
to
our
annual
spring
Stamp
&
Coin
Show
which
is
held
the
first
Weekend
in
May
at
the Sunova Centre, West St. Paul.
There
is
absolutely
no
charge
for
this
service.
